Shake effect in the Toolbox

Shake

You can find the Shake effect in the Toolbox under the Objects tab in the Live effects area.

The Shake effect can be used to simulate fast camera movements or make text and decorative elements vibrate.

Drag the effect from Toolbox directly onto an object in the Timeline.

You can also drag the effect to the Timeline and insert one or more contents into the effect later.

After you have inserted the image, a colored frame with the title of the effect appears surrounding the small preview image in the Timeline. If you click on the colored frame, you can define the settings for the effect in the Properties area.

2 Specifying the effect settings

You can influence the effect of the shaking in the Settings area.

The strength and frequency determine how fast the effect content moves and how often.
 
Use the transformation settings (Shift, Direction, Rotation, Zoom) to specify in which direction and how large the deviation from the original position may be.
 
The effect can be played with or without motion blur. In addition, a color shift can be activated for the RGB range.

 STAGES  To animate the effect additionally, the values can be animated with curves via the effect duration. Activate the curve mode on the right-hand edge of the effect.

The video "Text-Schütteln-Effekt mit Blüten-Partikel ("Hallo, Frühling!")" shows how to shake text so hard that the letters fly off.
